The wise folks at MIT have developed a spinach that wilts when it is around explosive materials.
This is not a drill.
(Learn how to spell, Spidey!)
So what exactly are the practical uses for this?
If the military suspects someone of terrorism they secretly plant spinach around the outside of his house and wait a few days to see if it wilts?
They wave bowls of it beneath cars at border crossings?
They serve suspected terrorists salad in a restaurant and watch from the shadows while they eat it?
Do terrorists even eat salad? I didn’t see it on their menu.
I am having a hard time imagining when this could ever be useful, but maybe someone could enligthen me.
